This morning some users saw a Certificate Expired message. At no time was your data at risk, the system was erroneously displaying the expired message. This occurred due to a bug in our load balancer’s process. The new certificate was in place and working properly, when the old certificate expired the load balancer started using that expired certificate instead of the new certificate. Once we realized this was the case, the expired certificate was removed, and the load balancer went back to using the new certificate. As a way to prevent this from happening in the future, we have modified our process to remove the old certificate after installing the newer certificate.
